Woodlands Youth Rugby Club is a 501(c)3 organization support rugby for ages boys u11 through u19 and girls high school rugby in the greater Woodlands and CISD areas. WYRC is an affiliate of the Woodlands Rugby Football Club and recognized as a club sport by the Conroe Independent School District and Klein Independent School District. CISD recognizes WYRC as a private PE class for early release and in the CISD participant can receive a varsity letter for participation.
The WYRC was first organized in 2001 by members of the Woodlands Rugby and has continued to flourish under their guidance.
Seasons

The season runs from mid November – May this includes the playoff and championships. The state tournament is held annually every April for Girls Varsity and Boys U19 teams. Both girl’s and boy’s high school aged teams have the possibility to advance to Regional and National tournament and finals.
7s
Very informal high intensity short and fast. Typically only for the uber performance minded athletes. Season runs June and July
Select Rugby – Path to USA Eagles – Represent your Country
Both U17 and U19 boys have during the course of the regular season a chance to be evaluated and selected to become a select rugby athlete with opportunities to represent the Houston Area, Texas, HS AllStars and the USA junior Eagles program.
